Maps, Plans Views and Coins Illustrative of the Travels of Anarcharsis the Younger in Greece, During the Middle of the Fourth Century Before the Christian Aera. Volume contains ctitical observations, in English, by M. Barbe du Bocage. Thirty-one plates comprising fold-out maps, diagrams and illustrations, some hand tinted and three of which ha ve been professionally repaired along crease-lines. Book newly, professionally re-bound in quarter calf on marbled boards. Spine has five raised raised bands with decorative gold-tooled line separati o ns. Title labels in red calf with gold lettering and date tastefully laid in. New end papers of hand-made paper inserted, otherwise body of book is as original . A presentation-quality book now res t or ed to very good condition.
