Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. One school stamp "Ecole Notre Dame de Lajoie Ottawa Ontario" neatly in place at foot of title page. Text block is clean and bright with crisp, white pages. The covers are bright with minimal shelf rub, and are in a square, tight binding. On the back pastedown the surface is faintly roughened with traces of a previously removed label. Otherwise pastedowns and end papers are entirely clear. The cover illustration on salmon-coloured cloth displays children calling at a schoolroom door. This Secon Reader following Fun With Dick And Jane is a very nice copy which has escaped the wear and tear of the classroom and is presentation-quality.
